Jayne In Jedburgh

I live in Jedburgh in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Here, I find inspiration in the abundance of nature that surrounds me. I primarily use acrylic paints, working with finds foraged whilst walking with my family, as well as vegetables, fruits and the occasional visitor to our garden. I aim to keep my paintings simple and I enjoy capturing colours, light and textures. My subject matter alters across the seasons, with each paining capturing a particular moment in the cycle of the natural world.

I have enjoyed a lifelong passion for painting, particularly with still life, and hold a BA (Hons) degree in Art and Design from the University of Bradford.

I live in Jedburgh with my husband Dean, daughter Freya, and miniature Dachshund Button.
